The system of urban furniture "TriSq" is primarily intended for equipping the exterior premises such as public parks, town squares, promenades, gardens, stop (bus, tram, railway) station, and private gardens and yards.
It can be applied in the interiors of public institutions and facilities (shopping centers, schools, museums, galleries, entrances, etc.).
"TriSq" comes from the English term „try square“ or „trysquare“, a woodworking or a metal working tool used for marking and measuring a piece of wood.
This element in the form of the letter "L" is combined in a very simple way with the other element, reversed letter "U" creating endless varieties of different formal entity, with no limitation of size or typology.
Benches with backs and without backs and a small bench / bicycle holders are made from solid wood. „L“ and reversed „U“ elements are transversaly fixed with system of stainless steel pipes and fittings.
„L“ elements can be moved left or right for 32 cm, 64, 96 and to max 128 cm, which gives more usable surface of benches and bike holders. The primary bench length is 190 cm and can be extended to 222, 254, 286 and 318 cm, also bench / bicycle holder can be extended from 109 cm to 141 cm.
Since the basic forms appear in the form of the letter "L" and reversed letter "U" as well as horizontal and vertical displacement of both forms, and different thicknesses, we get an interesting play of surfaces. Both elements are used in the form of benches and stools / holders for bikes, while the shape of the letter "L" is used for the bins, protective fencing for trees and flower pots. Traps to stop traffic are simplified and stripped to the form of letter "I".
The final product made of simple elements are maximally efficient to custom manufacturing. Product design minimalist approach emphasizes the beauty and warmth of wood.
It can be made of:
